Dji Ronin-S - Design
The Dji Ronin-S's innovative framework elevates camera payload above the Roll Axis, making the camera's built-in display obstruction free and always in your line of sight. This ergonomic design also frees the Ronin-S from unwanted shake as you shift from underslung to an upright position in one smooth take.
Dji Ronin-S - Features Review
As its first single-handle DSLR and mirrorless camera stabilizer, the Dji Ronin S joins a bevy of popular options from companies like FeyuTech and Zhiyun, putting 3-axis stabilization in a compact form factor.
Two different frame sizes are available, one geared for larger DSLRs and the other for mirrorless bodies. High-torque motors support a variety of popular cameras, including the Panasonic GH5, Sony A7R Mark III, and Canon 5D Mark IV .
The Dji Ronin S features dedicated control buttons for the camera and gimbal and lets you toggle between SmoothTrack settings, record and stop the camera. A high precision joystick, similar to the ones you find on your drone controller, allows you to aim the camera quickly and accurately.
Dji Ronin-S Features:
- SmoothTrack: With only one hand, SmoothTrack technology allows you to transition smoothly from motion to camera angle effortlessly. Two customizable parameter groups enable you to store your favorite SmoothTrack settings, switching between them in a single click. The Ronin-S's new Sport mode now intelligently increases SmoothTrack responsiveness to keep up with any movement.
- Versatility: The Dji Ronin-S can be easily mount to an RC buggy for low angle shots or even act as a stabilized remote head when mounted to a jib. The dedicated DJI Focus Command Unit can be mounted to the accessory dock, enabling creators to pull focus when operating with the standard handle. You can also attach the Ronin-S to a dual-handheld bar without compromising control of the gimbal, focus, or the camera shutter.
- Eco-system: Dji understand that sometimes we need more than just a gimbal for our project. Multiple accessory mounts are allocated on the Ronin-S, providing full support for add-ons such as a microphone, LED lights, and even a wireless video transmitter. Compatibility with DJI control devices such as Master Force provides intuitive controls. The Master Wheels are also able to provide remote operators precise gimbal movements.
The Dji Ronin S also features a Sport mode for fast moving subjects and other intelligent modes such as Panorama, Hyperlapse, Track and CamAnchor.
Dji Ronin-S will be available in the second quarter of 2018, DJI Flagship Stores, DJI Authorized Retail Stores, and DJI Resellers worldwide. Pricing will be announced prior to availability. Additional information on Ronin-S can be found at ➡Dji Store⬅
