Extreme Fliers Micro Drone 3.0 Review - Small But Smart
Hi everyone
in other review! However, for people don’t know the Micro Drone 3.0 the Micro Drone is a crowd-funded drone that's
a little bigger than your hand. It's fun to fly, and video quality is good.
Here's our Micro Drone 3.0 review.
Micro Drone 3.0 Design
The Extreme Fliers Micro Drone 3.0 is a simply designed drone, made from a basic X-shaped piece of metal with a plastic dome. The drone measures about 6.5 inches from rotor tip to tip, and weighs in at just 2.5 ounces with battery and camera.
The dome covers the drone’s electronics, including the small 550-mAh battery. The motors and rotors are attached to the end of each arm. Beneath each of the motors is a single LED: blue for the front of the drone and white for the back.
The rotor blades stick out a lot from the body of the drone, but Extreme Fliers includes a set of blade protectors — lightweight plastic half-circles that clip onto the motor and protect it from harm when you crash.
"Compared to some drones, the Micro Drone 3.0 isn't very small at all. In fact, it's a double-palm-size drone - considerably larger than the truly tiny 'nano' drones you'll find in our cheap drone roundup."

Opening the box and it’s apparent just how “micro” the micro drone is. It’s even erring on the side of cute (just about). Even if robots rise up and take over planet Earth one day, this one seems like it would be capable of reasonably minimal damage.
The Micro Drone 3.0 is placed on top of the box, and underneath you’ll find all the bits and bobs you need to get it going - namely the battery, the charger and spare blades.
There are also a couple of guards for the blades should you be worried about the safety of any passing children or dogs while out flying. Because these things are all fun and games until someone slaps you with a lawsuit.
